Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan on thursday has extended his sincere prayers for recovery of Nawaz Sharif’s health

Prime Minister Imran Khan, in his tweet, said that He has directed all the concerned authorities to ensure provision of the best possible healthcare and medical treatment to Nawaz Sharif.

Nawaz Sharif had been shifted to hospital on Monday night after sudden drop in his platelets number.

Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will be shifted to Pakistan Kidney & Liver Institute today for various tests.

Sharif would undergo various tests for the kidney and liver, including the entire body. After the test reports, the option of sending the former prime minister abroad for medical treatment will come under the consideration, sources close to the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz’s (PML-N) said (as reported by Ary News)

Even after transfusion of Platlets kits yesterday platelets count wasn’t increasing. Medical advised not to present Nawaz Sharif in accountability court as a minor cut can cause severe damage and make situation critical.

Kartarpur Corridor: Pakistan fulfills commitment with Sikh community

Officials of Pakistan and India have inked an Agreement for opening of Kartarpur Corridor on Thursday.

Signing ceremony was held at Kartarpur Zero point where Pakistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Director General South Asia and SAARC Dr. Muhammad Faisal and India’s Joint Secretary External Affairs SCL Das signed the agreement on behalf of their respective countries.

After signing agreement Dr Faisal talked to media and said that Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate Kartarpur Corridor on Nov. 09. Kartarpur Corridor agreement has been signed according to the promise of Prime Minister Imran Khan with the Sikh community.

He further said that We are planting a tree of love which will also provide shade to our neighbors. 

Good News on Economic front for Pakistan

Good news for Pakistan on economic front after suffering from economic crisis as Pakistan has climbed 28 ranks on the World Bank’s Ease of Doing Business Index 2020 to gain 108th position.

Previously Pakistan was ranked at 136 by World Bank in Easy Of Doing Business (EODB) ranking. Now after implementing structural and economic reforms Pakistan has improved it’s ranking 28 points, from 136 to 108.

Pakistan has been included in top ten improvers by World Bank.

Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Togo, Bahrain, Tajikistan, Pakistan, Kuwait, China, India, and Nigeria are the countries who brought notable reforms in Easy of doing business.

WB report said that Pakistan made starting a business easier by expanding procedures available through the online one-stop shop in both Sindh and Punjab. Furthermore, abolished the Labor Department registration fee in Punjab.

Pakistan made it possible getting electricity easier by enforcing service delivery time frames also increased the transparency of electricity tariff changes. Pakistan, by introducing online payment modules, made it easier to pay taxes.

By enhancing integration of various agencies in Web-Based One Customs (WEBOC) electronic system Pakistan made trading across borders easier. Furthermore, obtaining a construction permit easier and faster by streamlining the approval process.

Pakistan also made property registration faster by making it easier to execute and register a deed at the Office of the Sub-Registrar.

On the measure of absolute progress towards best practices, Pakistan has improved the score to 61 from previous 52.8 points

Bangladesh women cricket team arrived in Lahore

Bangladesh women cricket team have reached Pakistan to play three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches and two one-day internationals (ODIs) against Pakistan women cricket team.

Visiting team was warmly welcomed at Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore. Players were then escorted to their hotel in strict and tight security.

Meanwhile, Chief Selector Uzma Mumtaz announced Pakistan squad for series. She told that team was finalised according the performance of players during training.

Bismah Maroof (captain), Aliya Riaz, Anam Amin, Ayesha Zafar, Diana Baig, Iram Javed, Javeria Khan, Kainat Imtiaz, Nahida Khan, Omaima Sohail, Saba Nazir, Sadia Iqbal, Sana Mir, Sidra Amin and Sidra Nawaz are the players included in team for T20 series against Bangladesh.

Akram Durrani gets a relief from Islamabad High Court

Islamabad High Court (IHC) has accepted the pre-arrest bail plea of JUI(F) Leader and former Chief Minister of KPK, Akram Durrani.

Akram Durrani had submitted petition on Tuesday seeking pre-arrest bail from IHC as he fears arrest by NAB in a case of illegal appointment of Pakistan Housing Authority (PHA) director.

IHC conducted the hearing of the petition today and accepted the Pre-arrest bail plea of Durrani till 4 November. IHC also issued a notice to NAB for seeking a reply.

Good News for Lahore about Orange Line Metro Train project

Orange Line Metro Train will be started to operate 28 October from Dera Gujran to Anarkali in Lahore.

In a meeting to review Orange Line Metro Train project, CM Punjab Usman was told that the construction work on 13 substations has been completed successfully while construction on other 11 substations will be completed by November this year.

It was decided to start Orange Line Metro Train project, which is electricity powered mass transit service, on trial basis to check for any short comings. The project will be fully functional soon after trial run.

Meanwhile, CM Punjab Usman Buzdar directed the concerned authorities to expedite the remaining work to make OLMT project functional as soon as possible to facilitate the general public.

CM further stated that the public would be able to use trains as a new means of transportation in January next year.

President Alvi highlights Kashmir Issue in meeting with Japanese PM

Dunya News reported that President Dr. Arif Alvi on Wednesday has apprised Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe regarding atrocities and lockdown by PM Narendra Modi-led Indian government in occupied Kashmir.

President of Pakistan Arif Alvi has urged Japan to play its role for restoration of fundamental human rights of Kashmiri people. He also expressed his heartfelt condolences on the loss of precious lives caused by the recent Typhoon Hagibis in Japan and wished the injured early recovery.

President Alvi also stressed the need for both countries to work together to strengthen mutually beneficial relations particularly in the fields of investment, trade, human resource development and people to people contacts.

Earlier, the president and first lady had attended the enthronement ceremony of Japan’s Emperor Naruhito during his five-day official visit to Tokyo.

Japanese PM expressed his gratitude to the president for attending the enthronement ceremony and hoped that such visits will boost the bilateral ties.

Medical Board satisfied over rehabilitation of Nawaz Sharif’s health

Medical Board constituted in Services Hospital to examine former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s health has expressed satisfaction as Nawaz Sharif’s platelets crossed 30,000 level and recovering further.

Nawaz Sharif has been transfused with four mega kits of platelets. Initially Doctors believed that Nawaz Sharif has been infected with dengue but test reports had shown Negative result about Dengue.

Nawaz Sharif was rushed to the hospital after Dr Adnan, his personal doctor, raised alarming concerns about his health.
