Dog bite claims the life of a Child at Karachi’s NICH

Dog bite claimed the life an 11 year old boy of interior Sindh at at the National Institute of Child Health (NICH).

About 25 days ago a rabid dog had bitten the child. A local Hospital gave Initial vaccine to the child. Later on, Child was shifted to National Institute of Child Health (NICH) Karchi on October 29 where he died.



Dr. Jamal Raza, Head of Medical Facility, said that The child, belong to Chhachhro town of Tharparkar, was brought to the NICH on October 29.

So far Sindh Government has not been able to control this prevalent issue of dog bite in Karchi and other parts of the Province. Recently, Dog Bite incidents have claimed life of 12 people including a Police officer.
