Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood on Wednesday has summoned a key meeting of Inter-Provincial Education Ministers on January 13.
Sources told that the participants will review the situation of educational institutions amid increasing cases of coronavirus in the country.
The members are expected to take important decisions during the meeting.
On the other hand, Pakistan has reported 13 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 1,309,248. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 28,987.
Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
