Sindh and Balochistan governments on Sunday have sought assistance of Pakistan Army respectively against deadly coronavirus.
Sindh government has requested the federation to send army soldiers for the help of civil administration under Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) in imposing lockdown.
On the other hand, Balochistan government has written a letter for giving civil authority to the army under Article 245 in order to curb the spread of the virus.
It is to be mentioned here that the coronavirus cases in Pakistan have surged to 629 as 292 patients have been tested positive for the epidemic in Sindh, 104 in Balochistan, 137 in Punjab, 31 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 55 in Gilgit-Baltistan, ten in Islamabad and one Azad Kashmir.
