Labour Party MP Debbie Abrahams along with Members of All Parties Parliamentary Group of British Parliament on Kashmir have reached Pakistan. India had deported Debbie Abrahams for raising voice on Kashmir issue. The Delegation will visit Azad Kashmir to access the situation of people living there.
Foreign Minister of Pakistan Shah Mehmood Qureshi welcomed the delegation of British Parliament. The Foreign Minister thanked the group for paying a visit to Pakistan and Azad Kashmir. He said the visit reaffirms resolve of the group for resolution of Kashmir issue.
He said All Parties Kashmir Group is an important forum with which Kashmiris have attached high expectations. He said the group is playing an important role to highlight Kashmir issue at international level.
The Foreign Minister said international organizations, particularly the Kashmir Group, should prepare a review report on the latest situation in occupied Kashmir after India’s unilateral steps on August 5, 2019.
