Maryam Nawaz gets a big relief from Lahore High Court as her bail plea has been accepted by the court on Humanitarian Grounds in Chaudhry Sugar mills case.

A Two member bench under Justice Baqir Ali Najfi announced the verdict reserved on Oct 31 and granted bail to Maryam Nawaz for taking care of her father Nawaz Sharif who is in hospital.

Court has ordered Maryam Nawaz to submit surety bonds worth Rs 10 million alongwith submission of her passport with the court to secure her release.

NAB prosecutor opposed the bail and pleaded LHC to reject the petition and declare it non-maintainable because the law has no space for such a genre of bail.
