A federal cabinet’s sub-committee, Chaired by Law Minister Barister Farogh Naseem takes up plea for removal of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s name from the Exit Control List (ECL).
Special Assistant for Accountability, Shehzad Akbar, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s personal doctor, Dr Adnan, Attaullah Tarar and others are attending the meeting.
Recommendations of Sub-Committee will be sent to Federal Cabinet for removal of Nawaz Sharif’s name from the ECL.
Earlier, Nawaz Sharif was granted bail by Islamabad High Court on health grounds for 8 weeks.
