The Punjab Chief Minister has directed to open rest houses and government institutions for tourists in view of the current situation in the tourist area of ​​Murree.

According to details, in a statement issued on Twitter, the Punjab Chief Minister declared a state of emergency in Murree and donated his helicopter to take part in rescue operations.

Usman Bazdar said that a state of emergency has been declared in the hospitals, rest houses and government agencies have been opened for tourists in Murree, where they are being provided food items and essential relief items.

The Punjab Chief Minister said that the DG Rescue has been directed to lead the rescue operation in Murree Jakar as the first priority of the Punjab government is to evacuate the tourists stranded on the roads.
