Federal Minister for Law and Justice Barrister Farogh Naseem said the federal government had asked Attorney General for Pakistan Anwar Mansoor to quit.
The law minister said the government respects courts and maintained that Anwar Mansoor gave statement before the Supreme Court (SC) without the government’s permission while representing it. He said that the government had told the attorney general that it would be better if he submits his resignation himself.
