Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Tuesday has offered heartfelt condolences on the sad demise of Oman’s Sultan Qaboos Bin Said Al Said with Sultan Haitham Bin Tariq Al Said during a meeting.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Tuesday has offered heartfelt condolences on the behalf of President Arif Alvi, Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan and people of Pakistan on the sad demise of Oman’s Sultan Qaboos Bin Said Al Said with Sultan Haitham Bin Tariq Al Said during a meeting.
In a tweet on social networking website Twitter, the foreign minister praised Sultan Qaboos and said that he was a great man. He further prayed for the peace of the departed soul.
Earlier, Shah Mahmood Qureshi had arrived in Muscat, the capital of Oman to express condolence with the Royal family over the sad demise of Sultan of Oman Qaboos bin Said.
On his arrival, he was received by Pakistan Ambassador to Muscat Ahsan K.K. Wagan and other officials of Omani Foreign Ministry at the airport.
It is to be mentioned here that Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, on the directives of Prime Minister Imran Khan, was on the tours of Iran, Saudi Arabia and the US to de-escalate the tensions in Mideast following the killing of Iranian military commander Qasem Soleimani.
