A Pakistan Army soldier embraced martyrdom during a shootout with terrorists in North Waziristan, said a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Tuesday.

“Security forces spotted move of terrorists in North Wazirstan,” the military’s media wing said, adding, “As soon the Quick Reaction Force cordoned the area, terrorists opened fire.”

Lance Naik Irshad Khan, 26, married, resident of Jamrud, Khyber embraced martyrdom, the ISPR said.

Earlier, security forces killed two terrorists during an exchange of fire in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s North Waziristan district, according to ISPR.
